ABOUT YELAWOLF: After years of toiling in the rap chitlin circuit, the mixtape matrix and doing hooks for a spectrum of artists ranging from Juelz Santana to Slim Thug, Wolf broke out in grand fashion with his critically acclaimed independent release Trunk Muzik on New Year’s Day 2010. Boasts on songs like “I Wish” made listeners look beyond his tattoo-decorated skin and respect his skills. The excitement, paired with his unforgettable live shows, led to numerous magazine covers and then a partnership with Eminem’s Shady Records.

Jonny the Unit 18+ Dance Party! at The Venue on April 6th

Jonny the Unit 18+ Dance Party!

18+ welcome
10:30pm doors
18, 19, 20 = $10 day of cover
... 21+ = $5 day of cover

For VIP, please call Susan at 701.232.6767

Who is The Situation's Friend Jonny "The Unit" Manfre?
by Firecracker

Johnny Manfre, aka "The Unit," is basically Mike Sorrentino himself, only better looking. We first heard of "The Unit" last season on Jersey Shore. Snooki's slutty friend Ryder had sex with The Unit while The Situation had sex with Snooki.

The Unit is 32 years old and he and Mike have been friends since they were just kids. He's an aspiring rapper who has an upcoming fitness book.

We should be seeing more of The Unit this season on Jersey Shore. I like Jonny. He brings the drama because he makes Snooki uncomfortable!

Read more: http://poponthepop.com/2012/01/who-is-the-situations-friend-jonny-the-unit-manfre/#ixzz1mNiZLgvi

Gretchen Wilson with Rocket Club at The Venue on April 20th

Gretchen Wilson with Rocket Club

8pm concert
21+ welcome
...
Tickets on sale Feb 24, 2012
Tickets available at Tickets300 (located at 300 Broadway N; Fargo; Open Mon-Fri 12pm to 6pm), charge by phone 701-205-3182, and online at www.jadepresents.com

$19 general admission standing
$29 general admission seating

For VIP, please contact Susan at 701.232.6767

To all appearances, Gretchen Wilson went overnight from talented obscurity to phenomenon. Her meteoric rise, the kind experienced by only a handful of artists in the past few decades, was that rare instance where talent and moment meet to form a cultural tidal wave. It helps that the identity she wears so guilelessly is one that resonates strongly with fans of country and Southern rock--the independent, take-no-guff, hard-working and hard-partying country girl.

Gretchen's ability to inhabit that persona publicly, as well as her flair for tailoring songs as gorgeously rough-edged as she is, have given her the kind of "I am what I sing" originality few women in country music history--Loretta, Tammy, Dolly and Tanya chief among them--have ever been able to achieve. Her first single, "Redneck Woman," spent six weeks at #1; her debut album, Here For The Party, sold more than five million copies; she won across-the-board awards including a Grammy and ACM, CMA and AMA nods for best female vocalist.

Her second CD, All Jacked Up, rode enthusiastic reviews to platinum status as Gretchen's accomplishments continued to stack up. Her third, One of the Boys, solidified her position as one of contemporary country's most original and multi-faceted female artists, a woman in whom ambition and ability come together in every aspect of her career. Her newest release is I Got Your Country Right Here is co-produced by John Rich.

Rocket Club hails from Minneapolis, Minn., and took the country world by storm with its debut single “One More Day.” The song nested on the Billboard Country charts for seven weeks – peaking at No. 49. What made the feat even sweeter, is that the band was unsigned and self-produced their record.

Combine Johnny Cash, The Eagles and Led Zeppelin and listeners get the rich vocal harmonies sewn with great American story telling in Rocket Club.

Martin Zeller at Cadillac Ranch on April 27th

Martin Zeller
Tickets $15
21+ welcome!

A Tribute to 80’s Rock Legends

Hairball is the world's ultimate "80's Rock" impersonation act, recreating the good-time party atmosphere of the decadent decade with unmatched authenticity.

Hairball's unique dual frontman assault, featuring veteran vocalists Bobby Jensen and Kris Voxx, sets them apart from all other "80's" tributes. They cop the personas of the era's legendary frontmen while rapidly changing elaborate costumes, then complete their transformations with dead-on visual and vocal performances. They alternate their stage time, bringing new characters to the stage every 5 to 10 minutes! For instance, while Bob has fans questioning whether or not he really is Paul Stanley from KISS, Kris is backstage preparing for his insanely accurate Twisted Sister spot. This relentless, rapid-fire style is constant, enabling Hairball to represent more than 20 of the "80's" biggest and most colorful rock 'n roll superheroes! You're not going to find Guns 'n Roses, Whitesnake, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Ozzy, AC/DC, Journey, Poison and more on the same bill anywhere else!

The core of Hairball consists of guitarist Happy, bassist Shawn "Sports" Pop and drummer Colt Python, all of whom are legitimate rockstars in their own right. Their musicianship and ability to perform on an international level makes kids want to learn how to play, while the guys that know how to play...want to quit. Along with their enormous backline of amplifiers and mammoth drums, these guys outgun everybody in every department.

DO NOT miss Hairball, the most exciting re-creation of the greatest era in rock history!
